Spicy Mexican Tuna Dip
Spicy Mexican Tuna Dip
I had this once as a teenager from a popular Mexican restaurant near me. I was certainly apprehensive at first. Why would you blend Tuna into a creamy dip? It was actually pretty amazing!
I soon went Vegetarian afterwards and haven’t had anything with Tuna since, until now. Good Catch Foods recently developed Fish-Free Tuna that has allowed me to try old and new recipes once again (you can find recipes for Salad Nicoise and Tuna Casserole on here).
This Tuna Dip is so easy to whip up. It’s light, fresh tasting and a little bit spicy from the chopped Jalapeños.
Ingredients
1 Pacakge of Good Catch Naked Fish-Free Tuna in Water
1/4 cup Follow Your Heart Vegenaise
1 1/2 Tbsp of Lime Juice
1-2 Tbsp of Chopped preserved Jalapeños (canned or jarred will be less spicy)
1 Rib of Celery
2 Radish
2 Tbsp of Fresh Cilantro
Salt & Pepper to taste
Optional: A bit of Red Onion
Directions
1. Place all of the ingredients into a food processor
2. Pulse a few times until you get a creamy consistency with a bit of texture
3. Serve with Tortilla Chips or Fresh Cut Veggies
This would be perfect with Margaritas or cold Cervezas!
