Crispy Waffles
These are perfectly crispy on the outside with a bit of fluffines on the inside. These are perfect for that lazy Sunday Brunch but still easy enough to whip up any day for Breakfast. Lots of Vegan Butter and Maple Syrup is a must but adding things like Fresh Fruit or Chocolate are acceptable as well!
Serves 2 -3
Ingredients
2 Flax Eggs (Each Egg is 1 Tbsp of ground flax seed to 3 Tbsp of water)
1 1/2 cups Unsweetened Nut Milk (I used Cashew)
1 Tbsp of @bragglivefoodproducts Apple Cider Vinegar
1 1/2 cups of AP Flour
1 Tbsp of Baking Powder
1/2 tsp of Salt
3 Tbsp of Sugar
5 Tbsps of Vegan Butter, melted ( I used Melt Organic)
2 tsp of Organic Vanilla
Serve with more Vegan butter spread & Maple Syrup
Directions
1. Prepare the Flax Eggs and set aside
2. Mix together the wet ingredients and add them to the dry ingredients
3. Add in the Flax Eggs and mix until combined (do not over mix the batter)
4. Once the batter has rested for 5-10 minutes its ready to cook.
