Spaghetti with Garlic Butter & Garlic

I have been making this simple but flavorful Spaghetti dish since I was in High School. So, really not that long ago! Lol. This is a great pantry staple recipe. It’s buttery, salty with just the right amount of spice.

Serves 2


 
 

Ingredients

8 oz Spaghetti or any long pasta

3 Tbsp of Vegan Butter

3 cloves of Garlic minced

2 Tbsp of fresh Parsley chopped

Pinch of Red Chili Flakes or to taste

1/2 cup - 2/3 cup grated Vegan Parmesan ( I like Follow Your Heart or Violife brands)

1/3 cup Plant Milk ( I really like Oatmilk)

Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions

1. Cook the Spaghetti according to package directions.

2. While the Pasta is cooking, sauté the minced Garlic in the Vegan Butter on low heat.

3. Add in the Chili Pepper Flakes. Salt, Pepper & Plant Milk to the Garlic Butter mixture.

4. Once the Spaghetti is cooked and drained add it to the garlic Butter

5. Add the chopped Parsley and grated Parmesan and toss well. Add more Plant Milk if the pasta seems too dry.
