Ginger Garlic Bok Choy

Bok Choy so easy to prepare and it’s a favorite green of mine. It’s a great source of minreals like calcium, Vitamin A, C & K. Sauteed with fresh Ginger, Garlic and a bit of Red Chili Flakes makes this dish so perfect! I could literally eat this entire dish just like that but you may want to serve it more as a side dish! Pictured here it’s served with Black Japonica Rice also called “forbidden” Rice.

Serves 2- 4

Ingredients

4 Baby Bok Cloys quartered lengthwise

4 Garlic Cloves

1 Large Knob of Ginger sliced thin

2 tsp of Toasted Sesame Oil

pinch of Red Chili Flakes

Directions

1.Make sure to rinse the Bok Choy well as there is sometimes sand and dirt between the leaves

2. Sauté the Garlic and Ginger for a few minutes in the Sesame Oil on medium heat

3. Add in the Bok Choy and Chili Flakes then repeatedly toss until they start to soften

4.Cover the pot for about 8-10 minutes to finish cooking. Add just a bit of water if needed

5. Season with Salt and serve as is or with Rice
