Garlic Chili Oil Noodles
This is comfort food in its simplest form. Noodles tossed with a delicious spicy sauce and garnished with Sesame Seeds and Green Onions, that’s it and that’s all you need! It’s so good!
Serves 4
Ingredients
16 oz Wide Noodles (fresh noodles found in the refrigerated aisle in the Asian market)
3 Green Onions sliced (reserve some of the green parts for garnish)
3 cloves of Garlic minced
small knob of Ginger grated
2 Tbsp of Chili Oil ( I use Lao Gan Ma found in asian markets)
2 tsp of Toasted Sesame Oil
1 Tbsp of Dark Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp of Light Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp Black Vinegar (you can sub more Rice Vinegar)
1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
Sesame Seeds for garnish
Directions
1.Mix together the Chili Oil, Black & Rice Vinegars and Soy Sauces. Set aside
2. Cook the Noodles according to package directions or until desired softness. Set aside.
3. Sauté the Garlic and Ginger in the Toasted Sesame Oil until fragrant.
4. Add in the Green Onions and stir for a minute before adding the Noodles.
5. Add in the sauce and mix well. Cook on med low heat until completely warmed through. Serve immediately with Sesame Seeds and additional Green Onions
