Classic Vegan Gravy

Classisc Vegan Gravy
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve made this Gravy and I think I love it more each time! It’s definitely my favorite classic Gravy for anything! Perfect for Chicken and Waffles, Sausage and Biscuits, in Poutine (French Fries, Cheese & Gravy) and of course on your Holiday Turkey Roasts.

Gravy recipe serves 4 (can easily be doubled)
Ingredients
3 Tbsp (45g) Vegan Butter
3 Tbsp (45g) Flour
2 cups (473ml) warm Vegetable or Vegan Chicken Broth ( I make one from hot water and Better Than Boullion Vegetable Base)
1 tsp (5g) Thyme
1/2 tsp (2.5g) Poultry Seasoning
1/4 tsp ground Sage
1 tsp (5ml) Vegan Worcestershire Sauce
Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions
1.In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
2. Add the Flour and begin to whisk to incorporate the two
3. Cook and whisk until golden in color about 2 minutes
4. Add the broth a little at a time as you whisk it into the flour butter mixture
5.Repeat until you have added all the broth
6. Bring the mixture to a soft boil and add the herbs and seasonings and continue to whisk
7. Lower the temperature to med-low and let the Gravy simmer stirring occasionally as it thickens. This will take about 10 minutes
