Bagel Board
I love a fully dressed Bagel with all of it’s yummy accoutrements. Typically reserved for Sundays or Brunch which I think is just silly. Breakfast should be enjoyed no matter the day of the week. This Bagel Board is a wonderful celebration of that fully dressed Bagel. There is a recipe for the Veggie Cream Cheese otherwise here are the things that I’ve assembled but feel free to make it your own
Serves 6
Ingredients
6 Bagels assorted flavors
8oz (227g) Vegan Cream Cheese ( I love Tofutti brand)
8oz (227g) Vegetable Vegan Cream Cheese
4 Tbsp ( 60g) Raspberry Jam (or any flavor you like)
4 Tbsp (60 g) Nut Butter or Peanut Butter
1-2 Tbsp (15-30g) Everything But the Bagel Seasoning
1-2 Tbsp (15-3g) Capers
1/4 cup (60g) Caper Berries
1/4 cup ( 60g) Kalamata Olives
3-4 Dill Pickles cut into spears ( I love Bubbies brand)
6 thin slices of Red Onion
1 small Cucumber sliced
2 -3 Tomatoes sliced
3-4 Radish sliced
1 cup Alfalfa or Clover Sprouts
1-2 Oranges sliced into wedges
1 Pint whole Strawberries
Veggie Cream Cheese
8oz (227g) Vegan Cream Cheese
1 medium Carrot, peeled and diced
1 large Radish chopped
2 Green Onions, thinly sliced
White Pepper to taste
Directions
1. Bring 8 oz (227g) of vegan cream cheese to room temperature and add it to a bowl.
2. Add in the chopped carrots, radish and green onions. Season with white pepper and mix well. Refrigerate until ready to use.
3. Assemble the rest of ingredients in various small dishes/plates
4. Enjoy!
