Texas Chili Cheese Fries
Chili Ingredients
1 pkg of @beyondmeat Burgers
2 cans of Red Kidney Beans
1/2 Small Onion
Can of Fire Toasted Diced Tomatoes
Can of Tomato Sauce
2 1/2 tsp of Chili Powder
2 tsp of Garlic Powder
1 1/2 tsp of Cumin
Salt and Pepper to taste
Cheese Sauce Ingredients
2/3 cup soaked and rinsed Raw Cashews
1 Small Carrot
1 Small yellow Potato
1/4 Small Onion
Garlic Clove
1/3 cup @bragglivefoodproducts Nutritional Yeast
Squeeze of Yellow Mustard
1/2 cup veggie water
Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions for Chili
1. Crumble the Beyond patties and sauté along with the onion until the onion is translucent
2. Add in the spices and beans and continue to cook for about 10 minutes
3. Add in the tomatoes and tomato sauce and stir well. Lower heat and cover and let cook for about 25 minutes
Directions for Cheese Sauce
1. Boil the carrot, onion, potato and garlic until tender
2. Once cooked blend them along with the soaked cashews and about 1/2 cup of the cooking liquid
3. Add the seasonings and continue to blend until smooth and creamy
