Spicy Queso Bread Bowl

This super cheesy dip is so easy to make that you don’t need the excuse of a game day party to make it. I love spice but you can easily adjust the heat level to your liking. Served in a sourdough bread bowl ensures an easy clean up and even more delcious carbs. Feel free to skip the bread and serve it in a regular old boring bowl. Lol

Serves 6

Ingredients

1 8oz package of Fiesta blend Cheese Shreds (I used Follw Your Heart)

1 package of Medium Cheddar Slices chopped ( I used Follow Your Heart)

1 container of Vegan Cream Cheese ( I used Follow Your Heart but also use Tofutti Brand)

3/4 cups of Medium Spicy Salsa

2 Tbsp of Pickled Jalapeños chopped (addd more or less to adjust the heat level)

3/4 cup Plant Milk ( I used Oatly)

Large round Sourdough Bread Loaf

Tortilla Chips for serving

Celery or veggie Sticks for serving

Directions

1. Combine the Cream Cheese and Milk and heat on Medium - Low in a large sauce pan.

2. As the Cream Cheese begins to melt, add in the Fiesta Shreds and chopped Cheddar Slices and continue to heat and mix with a spoon

3. Mix continuously in order for the cheese mixture not to burn.

4. Add in the Salsa and chopped Jalapeños and continue to cook on medium - low heat

5. Using a whisk mix the cheese sauce until completely creamy. (there will be a little bit of texture from the salsa & jalapeños)

6. For the Bread Bowl: Use a serrated knife and cut out a top from the bread loaf. (kinda like your removing the top of a pumpkin)

7. Using your hands gently remove the bread from the inside of the loaf. Be careful not to go too deep and break through the bottom.

8. Pour the heated Queso sauce into the Bowl and keep any extra covered on low heat. Refill as needed

Serve with: Tortilla Chips, Crackers & Assorted Veggie Sticks
