Sesame Chic Peas Cabbage & Kale

This dish is full of vibrant flavors, colors and crunch! It’s simply seasoned with fresh Ginger, Sesame Oil and topped with plenty of Sesame Seeds. It’s super easy to make and choc full of vitamins, minerals and plant protein so you’ll feel good eating it!

Serves 2 -3


 
 

Ingredients

1 can of Chic Peas

3 Green Onions

2 cups of Dino Kale chopped

2 cups of Red Cabbage

1 large knob of Ginger peeled and chopped

2 clove of Garlic minced

1 Tbsp of Toasted Sesame Oil

1 Tbsp + 2 tsp of light Soy Sauce or Tamari

2 tsp of Rice Vinegar

2 tsp of Sesame Seeds for Garnish

Directions

1. Sauté the rinsed and drained Chic Peas in the Sesame Oil & Tamari along with the chopped Ginger for about 8- 10 minutes or until you notice the Chic Peas becoming crispy.

2. Add in the chopped Kale, Cabbage Green Onions and Garlic and continue to cook on med - low heat for 5 -7 minutes stirring often.

3. Add in the Rice Vinegar and additional Soy Sauce and cook for just a few more minutes

4. Add in the Sesame Seeds and mix well before serving
