Classic Tuna Salad Sandwich
Classic Tuna Salad Sandwich
I know everyone has their favorite recipe for making this classic sandwich. This is my version which to be honest changes a little bit each time I make it!
Makes 1 nicely stuffed sandwich
Ingredients
2 slices of Multigrain Bread toasted ( feel free to use any type of bread you like)
3 Slices of Tomato
1 Romaine Leaf
Vegan Butter for the Toast
1 package Good Catch Fish -Free Tuna Naked in Water
1 Tbsp of Vegan Mayo ( I used Vegenaise from Follow Your Heart)
1 Green Onion sliced
1 Rib of Celery chopped
1 Medium Dill Pickle Chopped ( I love and only use Bubbies)
1/2 tsp Dijon Mustard
1/3 tsp of Kelp Granules ( Optional but I like the extra oceany flavor)
Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions
1. Mix together the Fish-Free Tuna along with the Green Onion, Pickle, Celery, Kelp, Mustard and Vegan Mayo until well combined
2. Toast the Bread and butter with a little bit of Vegan Butter
3. Layer the Lettuce, Tuna Salad and Tomatoes
4. Serve with more pickles!
